If you buy Lego boxes with plants and trees later this year, chances are they are made of sugar cane.
The green elements are technically the same as their plastic counterparts, but are produced in an environmentally responsible way.
The intention is that all Lego parts will be made in this way in 2030, so that the Danish company will make a lesser attack on the environment.
As far as I am concerned, this step is highly praised and other toy manufacturers are allowed to follow quickly.
